The gumbo is 10/10 the service is always great the place is always packed so if that doesn't speak for itself then i don't know Will!! It's great all of it is great i love this place
Food is delicious! Always the same and you can count on that. The fried shrimp and fried catfish is as good as you will find anywhere.
The food is always made fresh. The service is always pleasant and fast. The ambience is always clean fine it's a vibe and who wouldn't want to eat seafood, and a restaurant shaped like a ship.
This place is my go to spot for oysters, gumbo and stuffed jalapeños. This is a place of experienc. You may have to stand it line but it's worth it
I love this place for the crab fingers; fresh oysters; & micheladas! It gets packed often but service is swift. Don't be intimidated by the crowd! I'm not male or Latin but I pull up a stool (even solo sometimes!) and I never feel out of place.
Food is very delicious & reasonable. The michealadas are the best!!! I have been going here for years & the service is always on point.
Stop the Presses!!!! When I say that Captain Tom's is legit and by far one of the BEST places to eat amazing fresh seafood and ice cold beer... I MEAN IT!!. The place was PACKED... waited 20 minutes to be seated and would have waited an hour to get a spot. I carpet bombed the menu and tried just about everything. 1. The fresh oysters were delicious 2. The fried catfish and shrimp plate was simply the best I've ever had. 3. The Gumbo was excellent and highly recommend. 4. The ice cold beer was deadly and should have got an Uber there because I could have drank my afternoon away just having a great time. The Hungry Hardhat has placed Captain Tom's on my 5 Star Platinum List of must places to try in H Town. So let it be written... So let it be SHUCKED!!!
